Shigley Construction Inc. has been remodeling homes in Sedgwick, Sumner and Butler Counties. Shigley Construction Company received a national recognition in 2002 when the company was named by Remodelers Magazine as one of the Big 50 Remodelers in the country. 

Tim Shigley

Bio

Tim Shigley is the president and founder of Shigley Construction. Tim is a 1986 graduate of Wichita State University where he received his degree in Mathematics and Natural Sciences. He is married and has one son. Tim received his CGR (Certified Graduate Remodeler) designation in 1999 and has been a past chairman of the Remodelers Council for the Wichita Area Builders Association and has served on the Association’s Board of Directors. Tim is a lifelong resident in the Wichita area and is also involved in youth sports.

Shigley Construction specializes in large scale and luxury remodels. Our reputation speaks for itself by the number of repeat customers and referrals we receive. Tim is a Certified Graduate Remodeler, Graduate Master Builder and Graduate Master Remodeler. These certifications require extensive training from the National Association of Home Builders. Wichita Area Builders Association

WABA is dedicated to benefiting home builders and remodelers around the Wichita metropolitan area. Tim is and has been a member of the association since 1988. He actively serves on several committees.

Certified Aging-In-Place Specialist

The Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) designation program teaches the technical, business management, and customer service skills essential to competing in the fastest growing segment of the residential remodeling industry: home modifications for the aging-in-place.

Graduate Master Builder

The ultimate symbol of the building professional, the Graduate Master Builder (GMB) designation is for experienced veterans only. Before beginning the GMB designation process, you must have the CGB designation or the CGR designation with five years of building experience, or 10 years of building experience and successful completion of three CGB/CGR courses.

Certified Graduate Remodeler (CGR)

Remodelers with at least five years of experience in the industry can apply for the Certified Graduate Remodeler (CGR) educational designation. Courses in the CGR curriculum are designed to emphasize business and project management skills as the key to a successful remodeling operation.
